WCDMA iPhone Will Have iOS 4.3 Hotspot Function

The unique selling point of Verizon iPhone is its Wifi Hotspot, which allw users share net with their other equipments. This Verizon iPhone can support maxim 5 Wifi equipments with the same net, like your notebook as well as iPad.

TechCrunch once tested this function, and almost all users were comfort to this hotspot well. Today, there is the news says AT&T has started to support this Hotspot service in a tinny area, and only the AT&T iPhone users with iOS 4.3 can work this service.

Although AT&T did not announce to support this Hotspot to all users officially, the latest iOS 4.3 text edition has added this function to iPhone. Whether this Wifi Hotspot can work is decided by telecom operators, and AT&T is a little slow to work this out. AT&T release iPhone in the iOS 3.0 times, and when they found there were so much pressure when they tried to connect all equipments via USB, then they started to consider about adding this Hotspot function into the iOS4.0 system.

However, AT&T only announced all cell phones can work this Hotspot function except iPhone, and we can guess iPhone will work this new service in a short time. People tested this Hotspot in iOS 4.3, and they found WCDMA iPhone can work WiFi function perfectly after adding this iOS 4.3, beta. And now the problem is AT&T & Verizon charges for this Hotspot service $20 per month, and they do not know whether WCDMA will do charge for this too!

iOS 4.3 should be released early, but there are more and more truths say this new system will be released in the end February. At that time, we do hope AT&T iPhone will start to support this WifI Hotspot officially to bring a good news for all WCDMA iPhone users.
