MeeGo phone may pack 1.6GHz Atom, HSPA+ and NFC

A leaked MeeGo bug report has revealed that a new flagship smartphone from Nokia is being developed. Gleaned from the code, the specs of the phone would include a 1.6GHz processor from Intel, 854x480-resolution display and support for 21Mbps HSPA+ networks as well as NFC short-range wireless. Other, non-official specifications include 1GB of RAM, a 200MHz graphics core with 512MB of its own memory and an HDMI output.
For connecting to 3G networks, the device would have an Infineon XMM 6260 modem, while a TI WiLink 6.0 WL1271 chip would supply Wi-Fi and Bluetooth access. A Broadcom GPS chip, NPX NFC chip, Chipworks digital compass and a Toshiba I/O controller were also said aboard. There is no confirmation that the screen will have touch capability or if the device will depend on a separate hardware QWERTY keyboard. A USB-connected keyboard and mouse were also spotted in a dump log.

This device could be related or the very same second-generation Aava Mobile Core platform or the very same device shown off at an Intel sales event last week.
