Apple’s New Patent: Turn Your iPhone into a Mouse or Scanner

Apple’s product development team spent a lot of time on advanced screen technology, they are now intending to release the developed products that can shock the market. Several days ago, Apple have been integrating the new sensor technology, and applying for the multi-touch screen OLED patent. Now, Apple is developing a new LCD optical sensor panel, which can more easily read the bar codes, optical character recognitions (OCR) and QR codes. And also it can turn your iPhone or iPod touch into an advanced scanner, or even into a gaming mouse.

On HP tablet PC’s Conference, HP introduced the NFC sharing feature that allows the WebOS equipment sharing data and URL by slightly contact. Now, this feature is in testing, so it is a Lydian stone for HP. Looking at Apple’s patent in 2010, Apple has regarded this feature as the future’s technology equipment trend long before. However, the optical LCD sensor panel technology is actually a variant of NFC feature.

This optical LCD sensor panel can be used to transmit and receive data. Then the data will be transmitted to the sensor panel through capturing images or scanning objects, while the panel will play a communication role.
