The BloombergNews says Apple is just doing a research on a new mini iPhone aims to enlarge its value chain as well as compete with Android cell phones.

It says this mini iPhone will have a 1/3 body of the recent iphone 4 without “home” button, and comparing with the recent 3.5in iPhone 4’s screen, it has a 2.3in screen which is much cuter and smaller. Also there are not many information about other difference on other firmware of this mini iPhone, but we can imagine that the lower price of this new iPhone will be the selling point, and this will be the most important what most people care a lot!

According to the report, the price of this mini iPhone will be about $200 without any contact allowance, but the recent price of iPhone 4 is $200-300 with a two-year service contact for the 12-month service contact rules made by EU. For the retail price is so low, this activity will definitely increase the iPhone 4 price as well as invoke more customers choose the more expensive Android cell phones.
