Apple Uses ASLR to Hinder Jailbreak iOS 4.3

Chronic Dev Team has just released Greenpois0n RC5 to jailbreak iOS 4.2.1, but there is the news says that in the releasing iOS 4.3, the new ASLR Protocol will be added to hinder jailbreak iOS 4.3. Except that, Apple will release formal iOS 4.3 firmware, and he suggests all users back up their SHSH to make a full preparation of it.

Recently, Chronic Dev Team’s releasing of Greenpois0n RC5 saves all iOS 4.2.1 users break away from the jailbreaking problem, but the nightmare has come again because this ASLR Protocol way will obstruct the formal jailbreaking of iOS 4.3 as well as make it more difficult than ever!

What is ASLR Protocol technology? It means a test was which uses Address Space Layout Randomisation protocol. Also for the maxim random of the test place, it can really increase the difficulty of jailbreaking this iOS 4.3 system.

However, Comex of Chronic Dev Team says in twitter that although Apple’s new ASLR is smart enough, it can’t stop jailbreaking iOS 4.3 radically, and always, there will be many many better ways to jailbreak, and all jailbreakers are just researching this new ASLR Protocol to look forward to the day of jailbreaking.
